Robyn SHARP

Founder & CEO of Sharp International

With over 50 years of dedication to the Cheer & Dance industry, Robyn Sharp has built a legacy as a world-class performer, instructor, and event producer. Her career began as a World and National Champion and Miss Majorette of America, later leading the world-famous Rose Parade and performing as a professional twirler and cheerleader for the L.A. Rams and Lakers. Her talents led to numerous appearances in movies, television, and commercials, as well as international performances in South America and Peru as a Goodwill Ambassador for the United States.


Robyn’s teaching career is equally distinguished. She has trained State, National, and World Champions, and has worked with students from Australia, Japan, Hawaii, and across the United States. Many of her students lived and trained with her for extended periods, gaining both technical expertise and life-long mentorship. She has instructed at schools in California, Arizona, Colorado, Texas, and New York, and served as a judge for prestigious organizations nationwide.


Her accomplishments extend to some of the most memorable large-scale events in the world. She coordinated the Opening Ceremonies for the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics, the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the 1994 World Cup, and the Closing Ceremonies for the Statue of Liberty Reopening in New York. She has also produced Opening Day Ceremonies for the L.A. Dodgers, S.F. Giants, S.D. Chargers, Anaheim Angels, L.A. Galaxy, and half-time productions for the L.A. Clippers.


Today, Robyn Sharp continues her passion through SHARP International, managing competitions, workshops, and camps that serve over 10,000 schools, studios, and independent teams worldwide. Her dedication to youth development is unwavering—she donates countless hours to young athletes and awards thousands of dollars in scholarships every year.

Monique SHARP

Director of Operations & Creative Services

Monique Sharp, proud daughter of Robyn Sharp is our Director of Operations and Creative Services. She has lived and breathed all SHARP Brands for decades. With an early knowledge of competitive Dance & Cheer she has grown up in all aspects of our competitive Competition and Camp industry since she was a baby. 


In her younger years, she operated and directed our renown SHARP Dance Studio in her home city.  She coached several award winning teams, trained countless individuals throughout the West Coast and has continued to operate in length the company along side her mother Robyn Sharp for the past several decades.


Her accomplishments include performing for the L.A. Clippers, L.A. Dodgers, S.F. Giants, S.D. Padres, Anaheim Angels, and L.A. Galaxy, where she was lead dancer. She also performed at Opening & Closing Day Ceremonies of the World Cup in 1994. She was Honor Band Lead Dancer in the Tournament of Roses Parade, and a State, and Regional Solo Champion Dancer/Songleader. She has performed in various Music Videos throughout her adolescences ages.


Monique has traveled to various states throughout the West Coast to direct Dance and Cheer Conventions and Competitions. Her energy, power and enthusiasm have inspired thousands of individuals who now achieve a higher level of performance in life.


Monique continues to help grow all SHARP brands year after year in her fields of expertise & has been a part of SHARP International since its conception.  She prides herself in helping host top notch, affordable, fun and family friendly events year round.

Skyler SHARP

Director of Event Talent

Born into the Family & Business of reputable SHARP International, Skyler Sharp started his love for hip hop dance & gymnastics at the age of 10. Growing up in a family full of performers, he quickly realized that dance was a gift he had been given.


Sky has been training extensively by several top notch instructors in the Los Angeles area in hip hop, house, b-boying and gymnastics since 2010.


Featured on Netflix, Nickelodeon Game Shakers, NBC Live Shows, Club Mickey Mouse Back to School Special, Several episodes on Awesomeness TV Dance Battle, Boys of Summer Tour, Dunkin' Doughnuts Commercial, and on going Anti-Smoking Commercial w/ The Real Cost.


He's traveled throughout the West Coast to train and perform with several companies & shows. Sky has been featured in several music videos in the past years. Kiki Palmer, Nadia Rayne, Carson Lueders, Miguelito, Bea Miller – Young Blood, Skrillex & Diplo – Dirty Vibe and also featured on America’s Got Talent through the live rounds. He has performed as a Spark Kids L.A., The MOB & IMMA BEAST Dance Companies.


When Sky isn’t traveling, training or performing, he joins his family business SHARP International performing and spreading the love of his passion for dance and gymnastics.


Donnie Croll

Director of Productions aka "DJ Donnie"


Donnie began teaching and performing at SHARP Dance Studios in the 1990s. Shortly after, he officially became part of the SHARP family—and the rest is history! A talented breakdancer, Donnie performed on MTV at a young age, showcasing his passion and skill on a national stage.


Married to Monique Sharp and proud father to Skyler Sharp, Donnie has been a cornerstone of the SHARP brand for over 29 years. He produces all SHARP trophies and awards, and oversees the trucks and trailers that travel to every event. In addition, Donnie continues to DJ at SHARP competitions, where he thrives on the energy and interaction with coaches, participants, families, and friends.


Loved by everyone who meets him, Donnie is truly the heartbeat of SHARP—bringing dedication, creativity, and joy to everything he does.

Jayy Rodrigues

Director of Entertainment & Camps


Jayy Rodrigues is a dynamic professional dancer and aerialist whose performances have captivated audiences worldwide—from Universal Japan to the Magic Kingdom. With standout roles including Chistery in Wicked and Aladdin/Magic Carpet in Aladdin, Jayy brings boundless energy, precision, and artistry to every stage he graces.


His career highlights include performing alongside Beyoncé, wowing crowds at the LA Clippers Halftime Show, and dazzling audiences as an aerialist aboard international cruise lines. Equally skilled on the ground and in the air, Jayy’s acrobatics and dance command attention wherever he performs.


Fluent in Spanish and known for his infectious positivity, Jayy thrives as both a performer and leader. Whether serving as a dance captain, tumbler, or choreographer, he radiates teamwork and dedication. Currently, he coaches and choreographs for nationally ranked cheer and dance teams across the West Coast—continuing to inspire the next generation with his passion for the performing arts.

Abbi Rindernecht

Head of Event Tabulation

Abbi owns and operates Concrete Entertainment Group, a live entertainment provider specializing in live entertainment and brand activation campaigns. For more than 20

years, she’s been the industry go-to for experiential events, with clients ranging from Adidas, Netflix and Verizon to A-list celebrities and beyond.


When Abbi’s not dazzling audiences with one-of-a-kind events, she serves as a Director for Sharp International, a renowned dance and cheer competition circuit. A long-time

fixture in the industry from athlete to coach, Abbi was a competitive gymnast before transitioning to Dance and Cheer in her teens. She went on to win multiple National

Championship Titles with both cheer and dance teams throughout high school and into her college career at the University of Central Oklahoma.


Abbi’s latest venture - The Home Team Fundraising  - combines her branding expertise with her passion for making sports accessible to teens. Growing up in a single-parent household, Abbi knows firsthand the importance of successful and reliable fundraising: she depended on it to participate in the sports she loved. Founded in her Mom’s

memory, THT connects deserving teams with exceptional, high-value items to maximize funds raised so that everyone has access to the sports they love.

Michelle Riggs

Head of Event Scoring & Penalties

Michelle brings nearly three decades of cheer and dance expertise to the SHARP family — with 20+ years on our team! After earning her Master’s Degree in Dance Education from Cal State Long Beach, she went on to launch three dance programs and coach multiple nationally ranked cheer teams at both the middle and high school levels.


When she’s not teaching, choreographing, or coaching, you’ll find her center court at the Staples Center! Michelle is in her 13th season as Dance Captain for the WNBA Los Angeles Sparks OLE SKOOL CREW, where she keeps the energy high and the crowd on their feet all summer long.


Michelle’s passion, leadership, and love for the performing arts make her an unforgettable force on and off the floor!

Nancy Valencia

Head of Event Administration

Nancy began dancing at the age of 7 and instantly fell in love with the art form. Since 1996, she has been passionately involved in the cheer and dance world, sharing her love for performance with athletes of all levels.


Since 1999, Nancy has taught dancers and cheerleaders ranging from beginners to collegiate-level teams, drawing on her own experience as a member of both her high school and college cheer and dance programs. With over two decades of experience, she has also served as a judge at numerous cheer and dance competitions and has had the opportunity to perform both nationally and internationally.


Most recently, Nancy showcased her talents as a dancer for the WNBA’s Los Angeles Sparks “Old Skool Crew,” where she brought her energy and love of performance to center court.

Nancy Valle

Director of Event Judges & Administration

Nancy Valle is an esteemed judge with over 20 years of experience in the cheer and dance industry. Known for her passion for performance and keen eye for detail, she has had the privilege of judging numerous competitions at both the regional and national levels.


Trained in multiple styles—including jazz, hip hop, pom, lyrical, and cheer—Nancy brings a well-rounded perspective to every event. Alongside her sisters, she leads her own dance team, and she also serves as coach of a successful high school cheer program, where she inspires the next generation of performers.


Beyond judging, Nancy is dedicated to fostering a true love for dance and cheer. She believes in the importance of developing not only strong technical skills but also artistry, showmanship, and the passion that makes each performance unforgettable.

Betsy McLaurin

Director of Event Judges & Administration

With over two decades of experience, Betsy McLaurin has built a career rooted in passion, precision, and purpose. From a young age, she discovered a deep connection to dance and cheer—one that has shaped her personal journey and professional path. From competition floors to classrooms, Betsy’s love for teaching, choreography, and leadership continues to inspire. Her influence reaches beyond routines, as she instills confidence, encourages discipline, and nurtures the joy of performance in every student she mentors.


Betsy’s expertise spans jazz, hip hop, lyrical, pom, and military dance, earning recognition for her sharp technique and dynamic, high-energy routines. She is especially respected for her military-style choreography and precision-based training, which have made her a prominent judge for the Sharp International Competition Circuit for more than 20 years. In addition, she serves as an instructor for Sharp’s camps and coaches’ seminars, where she plays a key role in developing both dancers and educators across California.


Among her many accomplishments, Betsy performed with the Los Angeles Sparks Ole Skool Crew, taking center stage at the Staples Center during WNBA games—a highlight that reflects her professionalism, passion, and artistry at the highest level of performance.
